Prayer for General Chapter 2024

Almighty Father,

In order to innovate and reform canonical life, Saint Norbert generously answered his vocation by “following holy scripture and taking Christ as guide”.

Send us Your Holy Spirit to kindle in us this generosity, that marked the beginning of our Order.

Inspire us, so that the General Chapter in Strahov will show us the way to remain faithful to your Spirit, who is the source of all life.

Guide us in our planning activities and inspire us in our preparation work.

Show us the way to true fraternity, so that we may discern how we can serve your people and how we can witness to true ecclesial communio.

Give us an open ear and a compassionate heart and the strength to act according to your will.

We ask this through the intercession of our holy Fathers Augustine and Norbert.
